Global challenges know no borders and, likewise, their solutions need to be global in scope yet adaptable to local contexts. Researchers have long understood this reality and often lead their universities in forming international research collaborations that produce ground-breaking discoveries. As new global challenges arise, the need for interdisciplinary, cross-cultural research teams to form sustainable relationships is even more critical in sparking the innovative solutions to some of the world's biggest challenges. This session will explore various approaches to these partnerships and the models they are setting for the future.
