LMU MOOC Offerings

LMU President HuberLMU's first four Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) are now online!

The courses are hosted by Coursera, one of the world’s leading MOOC platforms. Over 120,000 people from all over the globe have already registered for the courses offered by LMU. “We are delighted with the enthusiastic response from so many people in all parts of the world to the online courses announced by LMU,” says LMU President Professor Bernd Huber. “We see the presentation of our MOOCs, and our collaboration with the Coursera Consortium, as a welcome opportunity to participate actively and at an early stage in a novel technological and social development. It enables us to contribute to the design and evolution of this new educational tool, and to try out new forms of interactive learning.”
